FIGURATIVE EXPRESSION

Figurative work has long been an important part of my practice. Sometimes I begin with sketches, while other times a figure emerges naturally during the painting process. I am drawn to the ability of the human figure to communicate emotion, mood, and story through a simple gesture, posture, or expression. Rather than offering fixed narratives, these paintings invite viewers to bring their own experiences and interpretations, creating a personal connection with the work.
